Italy: Aronofsky's 'Black Swan' to Open Venice
Venice, 22 July (AKI) - American film director Darren Aronofsky's psychological thriller "Black Swan" will inaugurate the 67th Venice Film Festival, organisers said on Thursday. The movie's main protagonist is Natalie Portman (photo) who plays a ballerina, and also stars Vincent Cassel, Barbara Hershey and Winona Ryder.
Aronofsky won Venice's top prize - the Golden Bear - in 2008 for "The Wrestler," which starred Mickey Rourke.
Quentin Tarantino will lead the competition jury for the world's oldest film festival which runs from 1-11 Sept.
